Shooting for life.
Simply put, that’s what it means.
Life is not just because we are alive,
but because we feel a connection with it and think about it.
And that is our unreasonable ego.
But if that is the case, in my egoistic way, I want to take a picture of it.
In the barn, which was faintly dark due to unseasonably heavy rain, a flash of a strobe lighted up a beautiful life.
命を撮る。
簡単に言えば、そういうことだろう。
ただ生きているから命なのではなく、
繋がりを感じ、そして想いを馳せるから命なのだと思う。
そしてそれはこっちの理不尽なエゴだ。
でも、だったらエゴイストなりに写真に残したい。
季節外れの大雨で仄かに暗い牛舎の中に、ストロボの閃光に照らし出されるのは美しい命だった。
